Forth Valley Chamber have returned home from across the pond where we joined thousands of people in celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Tartan Week in New York City!
Our fantastic delegation of Scottish businesses were flying the flag high for International Trade relationships between Scotland and America, building on existing strong cultural and social connections. We were delighted to take six businesses with us to commemorate such a monumental week – Amy Britton Harris Tweed, PHJ Consulting, MacKinnon Watches, Stories of Scotland Podcast, WeeBox and Flux Solutions. Marching together up 6th Avenue representing the Forth Valley region and Chambers of Commerce in Scotland is something we will never forget! The crowds of people cheering us on was immense – thank you to the NY Tartan Week Committee for organising such a spectacular week of events.
We had an absolutely incredible week and are beyond proud of our delegation for their dedication to reap the benefits of connections made throughout our jam-packed schedule. From legal sessions on ‘How to do Business in the US’, to B2B meetings, specialised conversations, networking, ceilidh dancing, Meeting the Scottish Makers, advocating, collaborating, connecting, celebrating and sharing it with our communities across social media, wow – it was a whirlwind and we are all geared up to do it again next year!
Being in NYC during #TartanWeek and supporting the Transatlantic relationships is so important to Forth Valley Chamber and celebrates the year-long efforts of the Scottish community worldwide to Advocate, Empower and Connect!
