Celebrating the Success of the HEAT 2024 Competition!

Innovative business ideas shone brightly in Ceteris’ ‘Dragon’s Den’ style contest, with the winners announced as Sky View Surveys Ltd, – a drone data services company formed by two lifelong friends looking to make a difference in the engineering, consumer and creative industries. As part of their winnings they gained a year’s membership to Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce, we welcome them to the network with open arms!

President and Chief exec Lynn Harris was inspired as a panellist during the event, congratulating all participants for their amazing efforts.

“The level of creativity and passion we’ve seen from this year’s participants has been truly inspiring. The Forth Valley region is clearly brimming with entrepreneurial talent, and it’s exciting to see such innovative ideas ready to make an impact.”

Organised by Ceteris, HEAT (Highlighting Entrepreneurship All Together) continues to be a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life.

This year, the event saw a diverse range of business ideas that truly reflect the vibrancy and creativity of the Forth Valley economy. From innovative tech solutions to unique service offerings, the competition was fierce, and the judges had a tough job selecting the top three winners.

Our congratulations are extended to Square Peg Training who was awarded second place and one of our very own chamber members’ Laura Brown, from Brown Owl Legal Support who secured a place in the top 3, gaining third place for her commitment to helping solicitors, advocates, barristers, expert witnesses and legal professionals.

Previous winners of HEAT have included a wide variety of businesses, such as an artisan ice cream parlour, a martial arts gym, a golf rewards app, and the inventor of magnetic post-it notes. This diversity showcases the rich tapestry of entrepreneurship flourishing in our region.

Stay tuned for more updates on the inspiring journeys of the winners and the impact they are making in our community. Here’s to another year of innovation, creativity, and success in the Forth Valley region!
