Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce officially announced their use of the innovative new app, WITR, during their popular ‘Hub Club’ networking session last Friday.
WITR– developed by Chamber Member, Craig Somerville, is set to transform the way professionals connect at events. With just a single QR code, attendees can effortlessly connect via LinkedIn, making networking more seamless and effective.
The app offers real -time insights of ‘Who’s In The Room?’, including images, LinkedIn profiles and personalised objectives for attending the event – whether it’s to introduce a new service to fellow members, or seek advice on a recent challenge in their business.
As the first Chamber in Scotland to adopt this technology, Forth Valley Chamber is leading the way in modernising networking.

The introduction of this new technology was warmly received by attendees at The Chamber’s ‘Hub Club ‘, where members were able to identify potential valuable connections in the room, through the app. Chamber member Keith Docherty, of KJD Utilities praised WITR: “It’s a great new way to put a face to the person as you network!” Keith found that it allowed him to quickly identify the people in the room and determine their business without having to awkwardly ask “what do you do?”
