I am an artist based in Scotland, interested in both realism and abstract art. I have always been an artist – it is the one constant identity I have had since childhood, whilst I’ve moved into other phases such as husband, father, grandfather, doctor, musician. Artist has always been the constant.

I work in both traditional mediums such as oil paints and watercolours, but have also been experimenting using non-traditional, throw away materials such as burnt matches and plastic. I am always very keen to experiment with art and to push at the boundaries, trying to find beauty in things that are not normally valued.
