The record auction price for an Aberdeen-Angus bull was set in 1963 – and has yet to be surpassed – with the sale of Lindertis Evulse for 60,000 guineas.
A top price of 100,000 guineas was paid for a Continental pedigree bull – a Charolais – called Vexour Garth.
In October 2020, £200,000 was paid in Dalmally for a Blackface ram lamb.
In July 2009 UA’s Stirling Agricultural Centre became the single centre of operations for the company’s amalgamated Perth and Stirling businesses.
